Grundy County Farm Bureau is a grassroots voluntary organization, striving to promote agriculture through education, legislation and community involvement.
Grundy County Farm Bureau was established in 1914 for the intense desire to improve farming practices, prevent deadly livestock diseases and have a voice in government regulations affecting farming.
Today Farm Bureau serves both rural and urban populations who are interested in the well-being of agriculture and rural communities.
As a member organization, each member is also a member of the Illinois Farm Bureau. Illinois Farm Bureau is the largest voice of agriculture and takes pride in working with the County Farm Bureaus.
Through this relationship County Farm Bureaus are able to help strengthen the ties of agriculture.
Farm Bureau’s goal is to maintain an organization through which rural and urban people can think, act and work together to strengthen agriculture’s role and influence as a vital part of a strong and prosperous economy.
