Walnut Lane, Channahon Learn about the scores of American white pelicans that gather at Four Rivers Environmental Education Center each spring and fall during their migrations. Free for all ages, the program will include guided hikes, family activities and more. A live pelican presentation will be held from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The program will also mark the opening of a new exhibit gallery in the education center as well as other improvements designed to enhance the visitor experience. A food truck, Lil' Deb's Mobile Eats, will sell food during the event.
